BROADLANDS ORCHARDSHARE - Community Orchard Volunteer Day

Saturday 10th January 12noon - 4pm

Come help us prune the apple trees! We have tools available, but bring
secateurs and pruning saws if you have them, and wear sturdy footwear
and clothing to protect from scratches and scrapes. One of last year's
volunteers said, "Mum and I had a great afternoon. We have really
enjoyed it."

Enjoy a campfire cuppa at 2pm.

BROADLANDS ORCHARDSHARE - Community Orchard Wassail

Saturday 17th January 2009 from 3pm

A traditional orchard winter event, with Walcot State Choir. Join us in decorating apple trees with toast and ribbons, follwed by a walk through the orchard by lamplight. There will be songs (with the Choir) and punch, plus campfire cooking after. Bring pots and pans or a drum to bang on, and a torch or lantern.

Suggested donation £2 adult, kids free.
