'Life on the Edge': 7pm onwards, The Arts House, 108 Stokes Croft, Bristol,
Zunaed Rabbani, an Oxfam volunteer from Bangladesh who studied at Bristol University, will speak at about his experience of visiting the Shayamnagar district in the far south-west, where char communities have been left homeless since Cyclone Aila hit last year. Zunaed will show film and stills footage of his trip and give us an insight into the way climate change is threatening the lives of the world's poorest people - and of their resilience in the face of disaster.
