Dear All,

On 6th June, 12noon - 6pm, Bath Fringe have invited us to have a campaigning stall to promote the new 'Don't Drop the Ball on Aid' campaign. A campaign drawing on the popularity of the World Cup which starts in a few weeks, there are football puns/activities a-plenty that we'll be inviting people to get involved with.

From video-ing people's attempts to do as many 'keepy-uppys' as possible (and then uploading these to the Don't Drop the Ball website) to asking people to sign 'Yellow Cards' to important decision makers to pressure them to keep their promises.... And don't worry, for those who have no idea what a 'keepy-uppy' is & would happily let the World Cup pass without comment, the same campaign is being covered by the Big Promise campaign, where we are simply asking people to sign a petition to ensure the government keeps its Aid promises.

You can find out more about the campaign here

To get as many people from Bath as possible joining in with this, we need you!! Can you spare an hour or two on the 6th of June to help us run the stall? It will be a great day, and you'll be able to soak up the atmosphere of the Fringe Festival / Spiegeltent at the same time :) You don't have to like football - but if you want to show off your football prowess at the same time, by being Grand Master of the Keepy-Uppy's, that would be great (because frankly, I'm rubbish at football!!)

If you can help, please email me on oxfambath@yahoo.co.uk as soon as possible and I'll see how I can fit you in to the rota. Let's ensure we put Bath on the campaign map and really show our support for those in need .....maybe we can achieve the most keepy-uppys across the South West??!!
